One thing that many people struggle with when running a business is having to manage their blog and staying in control and being consistent. To no fault of their own, other time restrictions. I want to share with you the best way to keep on top of your blog, which if time gets the better of you, you can delegate out – pretty good right?

It is so simple you’ll kick yourself and wonder why you haven’t thought of it before hand. It is something I like to call a ‘Blog Calendar’.

Before creating one you’ll need to think about how often you want to blog, what things are worthwhile blogging about and the time you have to do it.

Small Business Blogging Guide:

  1. Create a little table; a column for the month, week or date and another column for the blog title. I would tend to do one for 6 to 12 months just so you know it is done and you don’t have to worry about for a while.
  2. Here you need to get creative and think about your blogs. What is each blog going to be about? Is it something you can give to someone else if you don’t have the time to do it?
  3. Once you have done that highlight the ones that are must. The blogs you feel are essential and need to go out when you have scheduled.
  4. Lastly print your calendar off or save it in place where you can find it easily.

You’ll be a blogging pro if you follow your calendar!
